“ I know my chicken livers. I'm sorta kinda a chicken liver whisperer. These are absolutely stellar. And they don't skimp. Love this place. Service is always friendly and efficient. This place gets good reviews and they are absolutely well deserved. ”
“ If you want a friendly place to visit for breakfast, you have to check out this place. This was our first time going. Some friends had recommended it a few months ago. We are so sorry we waited this long. It's a small restaurant located in a small shopping center. The atmosphere is friendly and inviting. We went on a Sunday around 11 a.m. We were lucky because there was only a 5 minute wait. Sundays are their busiest day. We were amazed at the low prices and large amounts of food. We had a wonderful server, Jayme. She attended to us as soon as we were seated and had an endearing personality. Those of you who follow me know I am a sweet tea snub. The sweet tea was excellent! My husband had black coffee. Before being served, we engaged in a conversation with the table next to us. It just so happened that the guy did Google reviews also. I would recommend that you follow him. He's listed under M Ruffin. They were visiting from Durham, NC, and it was also their first time. My husband had fried catfish and grits. The fish was so crispy. I had a cheese omelet, grits, and bacon. The grits were really good. You know it can be hit or miss with grits, but theirs was just right. We both had the big, fluffy biscuits. I spoke to the manager, as well as the owner, Maria. They've been there for about 15 years. She is such a humble and friendly person. She as well as the manager were bussing tables. We will definitely be back. This time during the week with or without friends. Keep up the GREAT work! ”

“ We loved this spot - the service was unironically the best we've had in a hot minute (our server was nice and efficient as heck). The hash browns were perfectly seasoned and the French toast was fluffy and delicious. The serving sizes were also GENEROUS - we'll be hitting this spot anytime we're in town. ”
“ Let me tell yall something...this NYC foodie has found his new favorite off the beaten path diner. Look at the portions in the picture below. I had some perfectly fried flounder with the right amount of salt and seasoning. Not too salty for us old timers who suffer from high blood pressure. Their home fries were also perfect with the right amount of onions, pepper and char/crispiness to the base of the fries. I’ll be back to try more items God willing. Good amount of parking too. Maryam my waitress was super efficient and the nicest person I’ve met in Charlotte in a while. ”
“ I had breakfast there on June 8, 2025. The food was very good. I had a Spanish omelet. The portions are a good size. I would recommend this place. The service was on point as well. My godson said this will be his breakfast spot when he returns. ”
“ This neighborhood restaurant is truly a wonderful place. I enjoy the food and the friendliest staff. Nothing has changed over the 10yrs I’ve been going and I honestly appreciate the homeliness and familiarity that it maintains for the neighborhood. Even though I no longer live in the area, this place will always be on my must go list. Food is reasonably priced, place is clean and even the locals share a friendly smile. ”
“ The dining experience is elevated to greatness not only by the delectable cuisine but also by the exceptional service provided by the dedicated wait staff and welcoming hostess. Their attentiveness and friendly demeanor create a warm and inviting atmosphere, making patrons feel not just satisfied with their meal but genuinely delighted by the entire dining experience. It's the seamless combination of superb food and impeccable service that sets this establishment apart and ensures every visit is a memorable occasion ”
